Synopsis "The Fountain at the Crossroad"
Ernest Lion was a remarkable man. After spending time in both Buchenwald and Auschwitz, enduring horrific suffering and deprivation, losing almost all of his family, and finally bravely risking all to escape from the Nazis, he somehow managed to rebuild his life in the United States. He found love again, raised a child, had a successful career, and then towards the end of his life, he was persuaded to talk about and write about his life and his survival. This is his story. It is both heartbreaking and uplifting. It is a story everyone should read in order to understand and appreciate both the evil and the good of which human beings are capable. All net royalties from sales of this book will be donated to the United States Holocaust Museum and Memorial in honor of Ernest Lion.
