Synopsis "The Road Home: Growing Up On An Arkansas Farm in the 1920s and 30s"
This story is about how I was born just in time to be involved in one of our nation's saddest periods, the Great Depression. It's about growing up on a farm in Arkansas in the 1920s and '30s. It's about looking back to a different world, and remembering a period of deprivation and misery for many, while for others life went on as usual except for a lack of money. Mostly this is about the everyday things and events in my own family, and remembering the people, the places, and all the things that made up our world, but no longer exist.
