Synopsis "The Supreme Samurai Contest: The Fastest, The Strongest, The Baddest, Warrior on the Planet"
The accomplished Judoka, the proficient Judo grappler is a venerable fighter in a venerable tradition. The grappling in Judo has a high degree of realism and the Judoka learns tremendous skills; not just in throwing but in pinning, choking, immobilizing and preparing the breakage of limbs of his opponent. Yet the tradition has not included the proliferation of the Mixed Martial Arts which include percussion movements, various hitting and striking movements which can be fatal and imply a no holds barred fight to the death, even though they are modified in the actuality of sport. The author has attempted to design a contest which retains the elegance, endurance, dignity and proficiency of the seasoned Judoka and combines it with the reality of percussion fighting. The contest is designed for heavyweights and is a kind of ultimate test of the truly proficient fighter.
