ప్రతి కధ ఎక్కడో ఒక చోట మొదలుకావాలి. ఈ కధ సిటిలో ఒక పెద్ద సూపర్ బజార్ లో మొదలవుతుంది. ఒక అందమైన అమ్మాయి కాస్మోటిక్స్ తీసుకుని షాపు లోంచి బయటకు వచ్చింది. అంతే ఉన్నట్టుండి ఆమె తన గతం పూర్తిగా మరిచిపోతుంది. అమ్నెషియా వ్యాది సోకుతుంది. గతంమాత్రం కాకుండ తన పూర్తిపేరు కూడా మరిచిపోతుంది. హోటల్ లో అనామిక అని రాసి గది తీసుకుంటుంది. ఆర్ధరాత్రి ఆ హోటల్ యాజమాని పోలీసుతో ఆమెను బ్రోతల్ కేసు కింద అరెస్ట్ చెయ్యాలని చూస్తాడు. అనామిక అక్కడనుంచి తప్పించుకుని ఒక చర్చ్ లో తలదాచుకుంటుంది. ఫాదర్ సహయంతో రావు అనే పత్రిక ఎడిటర్ దగ్గరకు వెళుతుంది. ఆయన అనామిక పరిస్ధితికి జాలి పడి తన ఇంట్లో ఆశ్రయం ఇస్తాడు. కొన్ని రోజులకు మల్హోత్ర కంపెనిలో ఉద్యోగం సంపాదిస్తుంది. అనుకోకుండ ఇంద్రజిత్ ఆనే ఇన్ వెస్టిగేటివ్ జర్నలిస్ట్ తో పరిచయం అవుతుంది. అతనితో పావురాలవెళినప్పుడు ఆమెకు అనుకోకుండ గతం గుర్తుకువస్తుంది.
