هنيئًا لنا حياتنا الجميلة.. دائمًا مجتمعنا يفرض علينا العادات والتقاليد بقرارات لا نرغب بها، كحرصهم على تزويجنا بسنٍّ مبكرة وصغيرة! لِمَ لا نستطيع أن نعيش وفق رغباتنا نحن؟! هل مِن المعقول أن يكون الزواج فقط لرغبة آبائنا بذلك؟! يحكمون على الفتيات الصغيرات بالعيش لِيَكُنَّ زوجات ومربِّيات منازل! أنا أرغب بأن أُكمل دراستي وأعيش وفق ما أريد وأرغب، ولكن مع بلوغي سِنَّ الزواج أصرَّت عائلتي، وقرَّرَت مصيري بالزَّواج مِن ابن عمي الذي لا يتحمَّل فكرة ارتباطنا وقلبه متعلِّق بفتاة أخرى! كيف سَيَتِمُّ هذا الزواج؟! كيف سَيَرضى باتِّخاذي زوجة له تشاركه أدقَّ تفاصيل حياته؟! أو بالأحرى كيف سأرضى أنا به؟! ماذا سيحدث لي؟ هل سأحبُّه ويحبُّني ونعيش مثل أبطال القصص والروايات؟
