Soleyn, is a minister of the Gospel. He has taught middle school for one year as a full-time teacher and has been teaching in public elementary schools for the past twenty eight years as a substitute teacher. He has worked with church Bible schools for more than forty years. Dr. Soleyn saw the need for a simple Bible story book that tells the main story of the Bible in such a way that fifth graders would understand what the Bible is all about.
