She has served on the Advisory Board of the Franciscan Spiritual Center in Aston, Penn., and Board of Oasis Ministries for Spiritual Development. She spent many years in a variety of positions within the garment industry. These life experiences inspired her to write and illustrate her debut book, A Dog Can Make a Difference, the first in a series about Jesse showing kindness and caring everywhere he ventures.
