Lexton Greer set up shop as Kingpin of Mecca, Ga, in King's old territory, then continued the reign of supplying addicts with their drug of choice. Her plans: use her creations to finance a one-way trip out of Mecca before a bullet puts her in the grave with the rest of her relatives. Those plans get put on hold when money goes missing from Lex's Counting Room and the thief disappears. Lex isn't out of the gangster's life yet, and he needs to hold someone accountable for the theft. Who better to make responsible and keep close until the money is returned along with the thief than the woman who hired the thief and stole his heart three years ago?
