Synopsis "A Skip of the Heart"
Enora doesn't mind being overlooked. She is used to it by now. With an excessively beautiful mother and an even more excessively popular older brother, Enora has been used to fading into the background. But the season is about to start and Enora will have her debut into society. Now she is expected to shine and she fears she will let everyone down. Not only is she nervous about this, but now she must fight against this childish adoration for her brother's friend who has come to visit. Christian has been hiding for too long. He knows it, but he isn't sure he is ready to do anything about it. The death of his father took its toll on him and going back to his responsibilities feels too overwhelming. When his old friend Edmund Rosewood invites him to come to his home, Christian welcomes the new distraction. While there, Christian becomes acquainted with Edmund's endearing sister, Enora. She is kind and innocent and about to be thrust upon society in all its cruelness. Still believing he wants another distraction, Christian vows to help Enora navigate London Society though he quickly finds that Enora's naivety attracts more than he expected. And when the amount of her dowry becomes public knowledge, chaos ensues.Enora is not used to so much attention. She isn't used to being seen. But can she find the one that truly sees her?
