Before we were saved there was no power in us to resist sin; after salvation God gives us this power. This does not mean that the flesh will not still desire sin...it means that God gives us power to bring the flesh into subjection to Jesus Christ by the power of theHoly Spirit inside us. We still make choices and we are responsible forour choices; but God guides and helps us to make the right choices.
