Synopsis "A Tangled Web"
Eva is relieved that Bella won't return to Rome until after her college graduation in May. That will give Eva plenty of time to lure Lorenzo back into her tangled web of sex. Meanwhile, Lucia is spinning her own invisible silken web of kisses and intimate contact around Lorenzo, without his even realizing her motives. Both Gina and Lucia are trying to subjugate their lovers, Marcello and Lorenzo, by using sex to reel them in. Like cats, they're lying in wait for the right moment to pounce on their slightest sexual overtures. Then they will have to find a way to hold onto their prey, however. Antonio and Eva have already enticed Lorenzo into their web of 3-way sex games, but now Eva is still holding Lorenzo captive for her own pleasure, keeping him ensnared by becoming his personal addiction. Lorenzo is privy to Eva and Antonio's dark secret about their illegal art caper, and the Italian mafia's involvement. Lorenzo also keeps a dirty little secret from his fiancee, Bella, about his sexual relationship with Eva, however. But Bella is involved in her own adventures, in Tunisia over Spring Break, helping her classmate Karim find his birth father. Karim and Marcello begin to compete for Bella's affection, though, when Lorenzo appears to be out of the running. Will any of her suitors ultimately win her love, in this final book of the "Ciao, Bella!" trilogy?
