This book contains papers honouring Professor Francisco Doria. It spun out of a meeting in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 2018, gathering researchers who have worked directly with Doria or his ideas to celebrate his 70th birthday. Doria's work is genuinely multidisciplinary, ranging from physics to economy, passing through philosophy, computer science, and mathematics foundations. This broad interdisciplinary impact is reflected in this book's range of topics.
