Synopsis "A Year in Bruxelles"
The evil Corsican bandit Napoleon was constrained to Elba, good King Louis XVIII reigned and all was right in the world. On their way to his final posting as military attache, Sir Simon and his wife Lady Katherine are confronted with the consequences of his earlier mission to scout the French army in the form of a young orphan girl. She is a spunky girl named Henriette, who they feel honor bound to adopt. Posted to the safe and calm station of Bruxelles, Sir Simon quickly becomes aware that all is not as it appears. Between the depredations of French irregular troops preparing the way for 'the boss' and the complicated love affairs of Sir Simon's sister, life refuses to be anything but calm or safe for Sir Simon and his family.
