Synopsis "After the Cross Comes the Crown"
I began writing this book of inspirational messages many years ago, but selfish yet justifiable excuses caused me to abandon it. Over time, I lost the drive and succumbed to being consumed in a lifestyle contradictory to the desires of my heart. Some of my convincing thoughts circled around not being the best messenger, the fear of being misunderstood and the concern of attracting harsh criticism. As I slowly accepted fear, the messages became less important to express. Like the prodigal son who wasted all he received, I was granted another unique chance and I found myself again, inspired to complete this writing. In my mind, I feel like a musician or a producer making a life-transforming album or movie so it must not be taken for granted. Such inspiration is not a gift and could easily be lost if not used wholeheartedly. As precious lives are being wasted, there are many people searching to complete puzzles for which the pieces are locked up in the selfishness and ignorance of others. In search of finding the meaning of life, people tend to initiate themselves and attempt to sustain relationships of some sort; perhaps with God, family, friends, groups or gangs, cultural factors, or with whatever they desire. Amidst life's journey, accumulated experiences could dictate what life means to a person. The chapters: Forgiveness, Love, Challenges, Limitations, Impression, Passion and Testimony deliver transformational messages intended to heal, inspire, strengthen, empower and rejuvenate life's purpose. As we read these chapters, I cannot help but to find myself as one of the diverse members of the audience to whom these chapters are addressing. May we open our minds and hearts to absorb these crucial transforming nutrients which maximizes the substance of our lives. Relax, and enjoy the dynamic journey in the chapters.
