Synopsis "All Roads Point to Detroit: The Complete Series"

Five years before the start of the narrative, a young freelance journalist stumbles upon the scene of an active murder. He was doing research into the criminal underworld, hoping to find the story of the century - the new mafia, inhabiting the Internet with encryption and anonymity serving as its calling cards. He is forced to join up with the hit man, after killing the assistant. The next five years sees him slowly obtaining the information needed to bring down the organization from within. A detective, who is a friend of the journalist's family, is assigned to his case from the start. As a fingerprint found in the apartment starts cropping up, he becomes more and more concerned that the journalist might have started dabbling in murder. When the journalist is caught on camera near the scene of a murder, and is spotted entering a building in Detroit, the detective pulls some strings and becomes a member of the task force.
