Following the socio-economic crises it has experienced, Côte d'Ivoire is faced with widespread poverty among its population, with a rate of 46.3% in 2015. In the villages of Bendekouassikro, Minankro and Kongodekro in the commune of Bouaké, the general poverty rate of 36% predominates over the extreme poverty rate of 30%, according to field surveys. In view of this situation, this article analyzes socio-economic indicators to identify the characteristics of poverty in the aforementioned villages in the Bouaké commune.
