Synopsis "Anchorage Deception"

The story is set against the harsh Alaskan backdrop of glaciers and a wild-west sense of Justice. Cold, chilling enemies and their machinations, propel Trevor Rains to question the government and the Alaskan legal system. Trevor, a widower, returns to Anchorage, Alaska, to help his former employer value a gold mine that is included in a murdered couple's estate. While working on the estate, his best Alaskan friend, a government operative, drags him into the deadly world of motorcycle gangs, murder, corruption, intrigue and blackmail reaching into the highest echelons of the Alaskan government. Along the way, Trevor finds a new love, one he never thought he would find again, which more than complicates his life. Trevor struggles to reconcile his new loves abhorrence of violence and the life style he lives. In the process, ruthless powers seek to destroy him and his closest friend. Entangled in the Alaskan corruption, a former client, who owns several strip clubs in Anchorage and Fairbanks, appeals to Trevor and his friend to aid her in discovering the people wanting her dead. In the end, Trevor regrets taking the estate assignment when he is blamed for deaths of people close to him. The impact of his decisions eats at his conscious and leads him to examine his way of life and his perspective of the world he lives in.
