As time went on, Findley Lake offered plays and musicals in the opera house, steamboat rides around the lake, roller-skating at the rink every night, and two islands for picnics or for viewing the logs being floated down the lake to the mill. Today, with its thriving year-round resort, the area has emerged as a tourist mecca.
