Synopsis "At The Corner"
Tess is sitting in church when her phone vibrates. Her husband, Paul texts her to meet him at the ER, their son has fallen and split his head, needing stitches. She rushes out the door, runs across the street in the pouring rain and just as she is about to put the key in the door, a white Camaro comes fishtailing around the corner and slams into her, knocking her off her feet and into the middle of the street broken and bloody. He continues down the road, leaving the scene of the accident. A policeman just happens to be parked across the street and sees it all except who is driving. He calls it in to get help. "Hit and Run at the corner of Washington and Summer Streets." This story takes place in the town where Rita Doyle Walsh grew up, a suburb south of Boston. Her characters are every day people facing the challenges of life and the decisions that they make. You can find this and Rita's other novels at Amazon.com.
