Synopsis "Back In The Day"
This book contains a collection of collages the artist calls "Back in the Day." An assortment of vintage family photographs discovered in an old blue suitcase from the Artist's Grandmother's past, served as the inspiration to create this book. A muted, sepia-toned color palette reminiscent of antique photographic techniques was used to create the collages, which are a nod to the artwork the Artist produced from 2005 to 2015. The backgrounds were made using paint, stencils, and the text from an obsolete book written in German. Back In The Day includes 26 original mixed media collages, measures 10 inches high x 8 inches wide, is perfect bound, with a matte cover, and 58 interior pages.
