Synopsis "Behold the Judge Standeth Before the Door I"

Christian Poetry based upon thoughts from the Word of God. THE JOB EXPERIENCE (Job 1:1 AMP) There was a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job; and that man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God [with reverence] and abstained from and turned away from evil [because he honored God]. (Job 42:1-6 AMP) (1) Then Job answered the Lord and said, (2) "I know that You can do all things, And that no thought or purpose of Yours can be restrained. (3) "[You said to me] 'Who is this that darkens and obscures counsel [by words] without knowledge?' Therefore [I now see] I have [rashly] uttered that which I did not understand, Things too wonderful for me, which I did not know. (4) 'Hear, please, and I will speak; I will ask You, and You instruct [and answer] me.' (5) "I had heard of You [only] by the hearing of the ear, But now my [spiritual] eye sees You. (6) "Therefore I retract [my words and hate myself] And I repent in dust and ashes." Every child of God will experience a season similar to but pray-fully not equal to the Biblical character Job. A time where only God (not man) can give you the answers your seeking. A season where God wants you to learn of Him for yourself and not thru the testimonies of others (Job 42:5 "I had heard of You [only] by the hearing of the ear...). And the trail of your faith? Not to test your faith to show an omniscient God where you are (He already knows). But rather to show you where you are not! In this season, we ask God the question (Why Won't You Answer?) when it seems He is not responding. We ask God for wisdom (I Wisdom) as we desperately try to understand why we go thru the things we go thru. In return, God teaches us to humble ourselves before Him (Pride of Life) (O how the Son did fall!). We ask Him for strength (The War Rages On) as the fight rages on within us. We ask Him to open our spiritual eyes as we try to be effective witnesses (Can the blind lead the blind?). We ask God to teach us how to love Him and others (I Love You). But first, God teaches us who He is and that He is a God of Love (The Lion and the Lamb) (Triune). He illustrates His love He has for His people as a husband loves his wife (The Epic Story of Love). Then He demonstrates this love as He lays down His life (The Going down and the Rising of the Son (sun)). The Judge Standeth Before the Door is written to encourage believers to live for God with their whole heart. Job was perfect and upright in his ways, yet there was more to know of God and His ways. I pray that these poetic thoughts will encourage believers to examine themselves, read, pray and seek the face of God like never before.
