Daher ist es notwendig zu verstehen, wie Zuwanderer zur sozioökonomischen Entwicklung ihres Aufnahmeraums beitragen. Die Ergebnisse der Analyse zeigen, dass Zuwanderer in Entwicklungsprojekten aktiv sind. Sie stellen etwa 90 % der Gründer von kleinen und mittleren Unternehmen. Allerdings ist ein differenzieller Beitrag zwischen inländischen Migranten (Binnenmigration) und internationalen Migranten (Auslandsmigration) festzustellen.
