Synopsis "Cain's Treasure"
Mark Hayden, United States Deputy Marshal for the territorial government of Arizona and New Mexico, is embarking on a treasure hunt. His mysterious and shady Uncle Cain has left directions to what may be a valuable cache to his sister-in-law, Sarah Hayden. Sarah, Mark's mother, has since passed away, and now Mark's sister, Ruth, has enlisted his aid to find the treasure. But to do so, Mark must travel into the Sierra Madre Mountains, several hundred miles below the Mexico border.The search will find Mark crossing paths with thieves, killers, hostile Indians, a less-than-honest Bisbee banker, the beautiful Maria Elena, Uncle Cain's old saddle-partner Pole Bratski, and the famous Marshal Virgil Earp.Wayne A.
