Synopsis "Candee Rayne"

Jacqueline Meyers has been an exotic dancer since the age of 16. She has been the most popular dancer for years at an upscale club on 8 mile in Detroit called Rock City going by the stage name Candee Rayne. She soon realizes that she is 28 (48 in stripper years) with limited options. Her life as a stripper is coming to an end and she has very little to show for it. One afternoon, she is forced to work the lunch shift, something the premier dancers aren't subject to. She's summoned to perform for a group of execs invited by a very handsome and interesting man named Preston James. They instantly make a connection when she offers him a private lap dance. Candee finds out that Preston is the head executive/producer at one of the largest recording companies in the country, Land Pacific Records. He is immediately taken by Candee, he wants her. He is enthralled by her presence. He attempts to draw her in with promises of a life with fame and wealth beyond her wildest dreams. Desperate to get away from her dreary repetitious schedule, she decides to trust him. Candee's future suddenly seems bright. She is quickly placed back on top and Preston is fulfilling every promise.... but at what cost?
