Synopsis "Cape Deception"
Aroused out of the mind's dark labyrinths, it creeps from a shadow world to devour innocent prey. Since the beginning of time, no mortal has been immune to this most sinister form of treachery. With a beguiling smile, it beckons, "Come closer, let me be your friend." With cleverness and cunning seduction, it cultivates innocent trust. Like a spider, it appears harmlessly still as it patiently waits for that moment of helpless entanglement in its lethal web. Then, when it sees that you have abandoned caution, when it sees that you are helpless and vulnerable, when it is too late, then the diabolical masquerade is over and you are doomed. Worst of all, if, by chance, you think you have seen through its clever illusions, outsmarted wickedness and locked it outside, turn around and look at what is standing right beside you now. Poor naive soul. You have been tricked. In your attempt to find protection, you have locked safety out and danger in! You have been lured into your worst nightmare. You have fallen victim to the most devious of human traits: Deception.
