La présente étude a été menée pour développer un GRDDS de rosuvastatine calcique et de gymnema sylvestre en utilisant du HPMC E50 et du carbopol 934 de différents ratios de polymères. Parmi les cinq formulations différentes, la formulation F3 s'est avérée être une formulation optimisée qui a montré une excellente capacité de flottaison et un schéma de libération du médicament approprié. Cela pourrait être avantageux en termes d'augmentation de la biodisponibilité de la rosuvastatine calcique et le gymnema sylvestre augmente l'effet synergique du médicament. Le GRDDS développé présente les avantages d'une préparation facile et d'une libération soutenue du médicament pendant 12 heures.
