O aço em estudo apresenta uma linha de segregação central, decorrente do processo de fabricação do tubo. Corpos de prova de dilatometria foram usinadas do centro e de diferentes regiões da chapa. As amostras foram aquecidas à 1200 C e resfriadas sob diferentes taxas de resfriamento. Valores de temperatura e tempo obtidas a partir das inflexões nas curvas de dilatometria foram obtidas e usadas para construir a curva TRC e devidamente relacionadas às microestruturas caracterizadas das amostras analisadas.
