Our story is told from boyhood to manhood in a Tennessee town famous for the best place to go cat fishing, Old Hickory Lake. We will have fun through our storyteller growing up with his grandfather teaching him all about the outdoors and learning to fish the lake. But when Dubois chemical started dumping titanium and other toxic waste from its drain pipe into the lake, it caused some sort of mutation to take place among the catfish in the lake. It made them more aggressive and also smarter and even more ferocious. But why now had they finally started to show themselves and really start hunting anything that moved on the lake? People of all ages who grew up in the country or who wish they could experience the great outdoors will relate to this story. The moral of the story will hit home with today's concerns for the environment, big business and people growing up with the ultimate tragedy of a horrific Catfish attack.
