K-Pop (Korean Popular Music) ist dabei ein Sammelbegriff für koreanischsprachige Popmusik aus dem Musikgenre. Die südkoreanische Boygroup BTS startete im Sommer 2018 ihre Welttournee und löste dabei einen riesigen Hype aus. Seitdem werden koreanische "K-Pop Idols" von vielen Unternehmen für ihre Marketingaktivitäten genutzt.
