Staff Sergeant Timothy Payne is no stranger to adversity. After the attacks on the World Trade Centers and the Pentagon he was compelled to fight for his country. Lieutenant Colonel Mintz ordered all the Squad Leaders into the battalion conference room where he told them they were expected to lose half the men in firefights and at forty percent the responsibility weighed on Staff Sergeant Payne. He was at crossroads in his career he just received orders for his deployment and the awaited position with special operational forces.
