Synopsis "Coffin for Two"
Jedup is a young Dayak from the village of Porad who loves hunting, setting animal traps on Tibodang Mountain, and pursuing his interest in martial arts. After growing up listening to his grandparents' tales of his ancestral tribe and its customs, Jedup has finally come of age and is ready to explore the world. After Jedup enrolls in Sarawak State University and meets Moi Moi, a beautiful and intelligent Chinese girl, his best friend, Sobab, travels to a nearby town for work-a decision that eventually leads to his murder. As Sobab's death unites the youth of Tibodang and revives the warrior custom of Katang, Jedup embarks on a vengeful journey that dramatically affects everything in his life, including his relationship with Moi Moi. As he and his warrior friends seek revenge, they are helped only by their own courage-and ancestral spirits-as their quest for justice leads Jedup to commit a violent act with unforeseen consequences. Coffin for Two is a poignant tale of love, bravery, and revenge as a Dayak sacrifices everything to avenge his friend's death.
