Synopsis "Columbia Hotel: A Novel of Phoenixville during the Early 1900s"
On the cusp of the darker side of sixty, Faith Little is anything but. Contrary to her name, she's tall and stocky, with less than a modicum of regard for straight-laced Victorian mores and traditions. When an employee of the famed and luxurious Columbia Hotel is found strangled with a dog leash and an expensive emerald necklace dangling from her fingers, Faith is determined to find the perpetrator, much to the consternation of the local Constabulary. Set in the small, yet vibrant town of Phoenixville at the turn of the 20th Century, this historical novel explores the community's rich history and diverse culture as Faith, the hotel's assistant manager, sets out to discover just who, what, and why the maid was murdered.
