Synopsis "Coming Home Again"
What does a 32 year old successful mystery/suspense writer do when she's at the top of her game? She leaves Los Angeles and buys a house in her hometown, of course. Aubrey Slojankonkowski, aka A.J. Sloan has been writing best sellers for years, but now, when everyone wants a piece of her, or at least her fame, she wants solitude. Moving home to Burlington, Wisconsin is the perfect solution, or is it? She finds the perfect house, but it hides a secret, a secret that Aubrey discovers, she must solve. If only her contractor, Cole Rafferty wasn't so hunky, maybe she could concentrate on getting out another best seller and solving the real-life mystery in front of her. Cole Rafferty had known Aubrey's parents for years, but hadn't had the opportunity to meet their famous-writer daughter. She was so much more than just a pretty face, although that particular part of her captivated him too. She was out to prove herself, just as he was, that they were a force to be reckoned with, in their chosen careers. Could these two people, who are so alike and so different, find the one thing they both craved.......love?
