Now available in the United States. (Originally printed in England as HOLY THINGS FOR THE HOLY: EUCHARISTIC BLESSINGS IN SLAVIC BYZANTINE THEOLOGY) This work examines what is the Eucharist and how it brings an individual closer to God. These two Slavic Byzantine Churches through the analysis of the writings of their theologians both share a common understanding. The author shows that both Churches have moved to an understanding of salvation is based upon Palamite theology which is based on Fathers like St. Ignatius and St. Irenaeus an is faithful to the dogmatic traditions of both Churches.
