Synopsis "Death at Brambles: A Rostershire Novel"
When a property development company plan to build 200 houses in the picturesque village of Harkstone, the villagers are up in arms. But first, the company must knock down Brambles, a beautiful but dilapidated house, in order to gain access. Paul Mallory, the owner, is under pressure to sell from his wife, and when her body is found in nearby woods, he's the obvious suspect. As the investigation progresses and opposition to the housing development grows, disturbing facts begin to emerge, and the village is rocked by another murder. The police are mystified and it takes two women, timid Amy and irrepressible Rosie, to uncover the secrets which unmask the murderer.
