Synopsis "Defeat in Victory, Act I"

The story is of a giant of a man named Orestes, who has taken orders his entire life. After one abominable battle that resulted in the death of an unnamed friend of his, Orestes decides to leave his dismal life of servitude and warmongering for one of peace and solitude. Many years pass and Orestes has since been living the peaceful life, when one day, visitors to his village ask him to take up arms against the man that he called "Master" many years ago, known illusively as "The Martinet". Although reluctant at first, Orestes eventually vows to destroy the Martinet and the tyranny he has spread. Banding together with several battle-hungry and flamboyant officers, Orestes eventually begins to take on the Martinet's forces throughout the land, meeting equally terrifying and war-driven individuals serving the Martinet. Through epic and arduous battles, the forces led by Orestes are willing to die on the field of battle, crusading against the evil that afflicts the land. But is the cost so great that the ends justify the means?
