Nach einem einleitenden Übersetzungsvergleich erfolgt eine ausführliche Literaturkritik des Textes, an die sich eine nähere Betrachtung der Traditions- Form- Begriffs- und Religionsgeschichte des Evangeliums anschlie t. In einem letzten Teil erfolgt dann eine inhaltliche Interpretation des Textes, welche sich wiederum an eine Analyse seiner Überlieferungstradition und der Analyse seiner Redaktion anlehnt.
