Synopsis "Drafted"
Drafted is a coming of age military comedy about Eli Jones, who in 1966 is plucked out of his small town life and illegally drafted into the U.S. Army during the life-threatening era of Vietnam. Despite his mantra "I'm not supposed to be here," Eli adapts, making many new friends - Harry, Tex, Steve, the Professor, Sam and Nurse Sara - who help him survive Colonel Clark, Sergeant "Must kill Eli" Wolinski, nude fire drills, a snake-charming stripper, and being buried alive. But he never quits, even in the jungles of Vietnam, where once again, he has to fight for his life and the right to go home.
