Fully Illustrated First Edition in Color. Kaysar was only sixteen years old, but had spent twelve of those years as a slave within one of Hilekar's mines, the Abyss of Tartarus. He did not understand why he was kept in a cell away from the other prisoners. None of the slaves were treated well by Hilekar's guards, but Kaysar's treatment was even that much more severe. It seemed as though there was a deeper meaning as to why he was being treated differently from the others. Yet Kaysar also felt that someday he would see the light of day once again and that he would experience the sense of safety and warmth that he faintly recalled as a young child. Were those happy memories of the past truly real? The longer Kaysar remained a prisoner within the Abyss, the more distant and unreal those memories seemed to him. One day as an earthquake shook the very foundation of the Abyss, Kaysar found himself befriended by a dragon who also yearned for her freedom. Together they flew out of the Abyss as the evil Lord Hilekar sought after both of them. Join Kaysar and the dragon Ettmore as their respective journeys through life become intertwined. Neither Kaysar nor Ettmore were fully aware of what their journeys would consist of or the meaning of their quests. Yet as the story unfolds, so do the revelations which give each of them a glimpse into their future and some understanding of their past. The adventures of Kaysar and Ettmore will take them to the far reaches of the Great Kingdom and their home planet of Terre Mere. The awe and wonder of Terre Mere and the mysteries of his own past will slowly reveal themselves to Kaysar as he ventures out into the mystical world that he had become a stranger to.
