Synopsis "Economies of Blood: A Samuel the Vampire Novel"
Vampire Blood Supply of Central Iowa is a state-run blood bank by and for vampires to acquire human blood and distribute it to vampires. Unfortunately, collections are down and thieves are stealing blood during the distribution. My name is Samuel Johnson. I'm a vampire and also an agent for Vampires Against The Evil. I have to solve both of these problems.Blood is important to us vampires since without it we'll either go comatose or become like our evil kindred who drink blood directly from humans and kill them. The answer is easy. Blood International or BI, a worldwide organization that has a monopoly for selling blood, is in Central Iowa and is marketing its services to the authorities of human-friendly vampires. One of their methods of convincing locals to buy their services is by impairing the works of the local VBS.Only it's not that simple. Because thieves are stealing the blood that BI is stealing from the VBS. BI leaves VBS drivers alive. The thieves taking from BI are less generous because they kill the drivers.I have to sort out this mess and find the spies in the different organizations before our good vampires turn evil.
