Synopsis "Effect of Zinc Addition on Waste Acid Lead Electrode Pbsb Alloy Effect on the Microstructure and Properties"
In this book, an attempt was made to improve the properties of lead-Antimony (Pb-Sb) alloy system, waste lead electrode from acid lead battery by alloying with Zinc using Sand and Metal mould casting techniques. The results showed that impact energy and tensile strength of the alloy increased with the increase of Zinc addition up to 6% and the Corrosion resistance as well as hardness values continuously increased with increase in Zinc addition.
