Synopsis "Effects of terrain and age on Acacia mangium forests in Vietnam"

Forest resources play an important role in the lives of people in Vietnam. However, forest resources have declined significantly nation-wide. Plantation establishment plays an important and necessary role in solutions to solve this problem. Acacia mangium is one of the priority species for reforestation programs in Vietnam. However, research on optimal growth conditions for this species is missing and limited. Research on effects of terrain on acacia growth and forest structure are incomplete. The important question of what impact site attributes have on the growth of Acacia mangium lack a full, specific and accurate answers. This book is an answer to this question is particularly necessary for the mountainous provinces in the North of Vietnam, such as Tuyen Quang, where the topography is often steep.
