Synopsis "Ellis Charles: And the People's Committee"

In 1892, Ellis Charles is a fugitive from the Deep South. A half black/ half white man, he's committed two crimes. Fortunately for him, he discovers; rather an Arizona mountain town called Native Town discovers him. He has managed to meet people who have his best interest; especially after Ellis had foiled a train robbery, prior to discovering Native Town. Ellis is helped about by a Native American named Chief Wiseblade. The Chief is the leader of a local crime-fighting group called a people's committee. Ellis has befriend him, and the handful of men keeping the peace within that region. However, as Ellis regains some amount of happiness after his ordeal, he hides his past away from those who care for him. Yet, a price lingers over his head. And Ellis knows that there are those out there looking to possibly kill him. In the meantime, Ellis spends time with a lady named Maria and her daughter at her homestead. There he learns to ride an Appaloosa and too hone his shooting skills. He does all of this, and helps the People's Committee when they need help. Ellis does know that his hidden past can prove detrimental to those closest to him. With his angst, and his struggle for a positive identity, Ellis tries to learn to come to terms with what he thought he's done; while he deals with the nightmares that haunt his memory. He's certain that somewhere out there that he has a bullet with the name "Ellis Charles" written upon it.
