Synopsis "Entering the Twilight Zone"

When single mom KC Tyler packed up her two sons, pets, and media trivia trophies to move to the small mountain town of Bonchance, Colorado, she was looking for a new start. What she found was murder! Miguel Ortega was one of the eccentric septuagenarians known as the Kibitz Club who meet at the independent movie theater KC inheritied. Convinced the authorities are spread too thin because of the wildfires ravaging the area to do a proper investigation, KC and the Kibitzers set out to find the killer. Bonchance is a town with a rowdy past clinging to keep its unique identity against the mechinations of land developers and politicians. Bordered on one side by the Pike National Forest and on anothr by the Spirit Lake Ute Reservation, the town'ds inner workings complicate KC's search for the truth--a search that puts KC in mortal danger. Can KC solve a mystery as convoluted as any Hitchcock film before she becomes the next victim?
