During his hibernation, the US experiences life threatening global warming storms, political upheaval, jobs lost to a controlling world or androids, robots and anAccelerating headlong plunge into artificial intelligence, computerized control. The protagonist Jay awakes to new world, his only choice is to escape from the controlled habitat provide by the overlords.. After a harrowing wild chase trying to escape, his skills as a test pilot have him joining a group of survivors leaving the planet. The programmer designing the brains the android, hides his advances from his boss, who always steals is advances. Quitin his job, he makes one more change, giving his android the power to create. While the commanding android continues to make itself more and more powerful. it ponders mankind's brutal history with a terrible consequence.
