The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) received a management request for a health hazard evaluation (HHE) at the Cincinnati Police Department (CPD), Criminal Investigation Section (CIS) in Cincinnati, Ohio. The HHE request was submitted because of concerns about cancer among current and former employees. NIOSH investigators evaluated the facility in November 2008. NIOSH findings and recommendations are detailed.
