Los Angeles based bill collector Robert Bonner's life is turned upside down when his boss Moncrieff Calhoun assigns a tough but lucrative account. Bonner finds that collection will lead him into a life beyond his control. Bonner, his friends and colleagues become caught within the cross-hairs of an unofficial war between Revolutionary Mid-Eastern forces and an international consortium of private vigilance groups.
