Synopsis "Fields & Mullins Families: Of Eastern Kentucky Book 1"
True short stories are what make this book better than a straight biography. In these pages are stories; I have heard many times told by my grandparents, parents, and then some from my sisters & I that we have been a part of. My grandparents & parents were born and raised in Eastern Kentucky around Irishman Creek, and the holler dad lived in was known as Booger Town; now wait; that name is no worse than Possum Trot or Hog Holler which are real places as well. Allot of good stories come from my family as they worked hard to cut out a living in Eastern Kentucky. My short stories begin during the Great Depression Era; which begin with my grandparents, Fields & Mullins families. Dad/Bud was born in 1936, and mom/Fronia in 1940. They got the tail end feel of the Great Depression Era. However, this is a book of short stories of events that are funny, scary, and adventurous only two chapters out of 25 can be called part of a short biography; while the rest are for fun. Follow the exploits of Monroe, Mae, Newt, Lizzie, Bud & Fronia as well as other family members as the stories unfold; feel free to laugh out loud.
