Synopsis "Fishing & Death: A Prakash Silva Murder Mystery"

Fishing & Death is a murder mystery with the protagonist Prakash Silva, who appeared in the author's previous mystery, Fishing for Clues. In this novel Prakash moves from Colorado after resigning from the police there and takes a job as the Undersheriff of Trinity County in California. Soon he is confronted with a baffling murder of a man, his wife and their dog. Both the man and dog are covered with paint from a paintball gun, as well as being shot by a .45 caliber handgun. The wife is simply shot and killed, but is not covered in paint. This is the prime clue that unlocks the mystery. When not trying to solve the crime Prakash spends quiet hours fishing for steelhead on the Trinity River where he meets the lovely Fluffy Owens. He is in for adventure and love in this mountain paradise, but the investigation also takes him to San Francisco and an encounter with the Mafia.
