Forbidden Lauren Baker wants it all. Her friends and a succession of frustrated lovers believe she already has it all, but none of them are aware of a deeply-held desire, a complex dream of intimacy taken to extreme levels of passion, dreams that even she doesn't quite understand. After an astoundingly deep introductory analysis process, she is immersed in a series of orchestrated experiences, all exploring and pushing the boundaries of intimacy and love, without barriers or social constriction. Data is collected and analyzed using technology that creates a profile of the perfect lover and the ideal situation, all based on her biological responses, and after crunching those numbers and filtering them through a sophisticated human vetting process, the program finds her perfect mate and facilitates an introduction and an initial path of exploration. Lauren is hesitant, until she dips a toe through the initial assessment and discovery process. She finds herself not only intrigued, but also hopeful, perhaps for the first time since her decade-old divorce hardened her cynicism and erected walls around her heart.
